The version of PostgreSQL doesn't matter terribly much (one of the design
goals of slony was to provide a smooth upgrade path between PostgreSQL major
revisions). However the version of slony must match exactly between all
nodes in your cluster.

This kind of legal boiler-plate isn't appropriate to a public mailing list.
There can be no reasonable expectation of privacy. I realize that you may
not have control over this, but it seems to be something that gets some
members of the PostgreSQL community all riled up.
