Actually, I'm surprised this works at all.

id's must be numeric.

    The unique, numeric ID number of the new node.


 SET ID = ival

    ID of the set to which the table is to be added. 
"

  ival in all cases means INTEGER VALUE

Perhaps if you assigned numeric integer values to nodes & sets,
it would start working?
