Just an aside, the slony user tutorial is still in progress.  A draft copy
can be found on http://www.varlena.com/Share/tutorial.pdf.  I'm looking to
get some heavy editing help.  And I'm trying to free up time to write and
test the ordinary operations that may be needed after the first successful
set up.  Feedback back to me.  Note that this is for dba people not knowledgeable
of slony internals.
