I think the usual answer to this is "when it's ready".  There isn't
even an -rc tarball yet.  But people are anxious to have tests
completed.  So if you have time for evaluation, checking out CVS HEAD
and  putting it through paces would be good.

One thing worth noting is that we really don't have a regression
suite for it in general yet (we have stuff inside Afilias that uses
our applications, so we can't release that part; but it only really
looks for things we've had experience with).  Reports of ways to make
it fail are always welcome.
