I'm investigating why, when I start Slony up on Neptune (a subscriber), it seems to cause neptune to crash with a page fault ... from the OS core, it appears to be during a bcopy operation, and, altho I have *great* respect for y'all, I'm wondering if there might be something in Slony that is "overrunning" memory? Its a long shot, and I won't know 100% for sure that it is Slony until the server has been running for awhile without slony running ... but, it seems that within minutes of starting up slony *POW!* ... I've got a backtrace of the OS into the FreeBSD folks, but figured I'd post something here to see if many someone has any ideas from a slony side ... ---- Marc G.
