We should look at applying this patch to 1.2.

It looks fine to me but I haven't done any testing on 8.4 with it applied.

patch to fix the issue

slonik doesn't know about versions >8.3 when deciding which
slony1_funcs.vXX.sql to load.  This is pretty critical because the 
autovacuum
setup was changed in 8.4, and so if the wrong file is loaded, stuff breaks.
Fix attached.
