I have a question about logging behavior.

Given that I have a master,  slave1 and a new slave2 to be subscribed.

I will subscribe the new slave2 from slave1.

If a lot of DML is occuring on the master, are the logs on the master (sl_log1 & sl_log2) retained until slave2 has completed subscription, or will the master purge/truncate it's logs as slave1 acknowledges/SYNCs the changes?
