Hello,

last night I have reinstalled three PostgreSQL 8.2 servers which replaced
a cluster of 30 old 7.4, had build a singel Database and went controlled
by a separated server which has done the search over the tables located
on the thirty Servers.

We have over 8000 tables (which build the database data and has each
between 50 and 2000 MByte = 5,4 TByte in summary) and I have imported it
in one of the new 8.2.

Now we want to create a "master" table (table partitioning) and at the
same time we use clustering since the new Server is cuted into Raid-1
with Hotfix (3 disks of 300 GByte each).

Since I am NEWBIE to Slony, please can you tell me how to replicate such
database? I am reading the docs since hours but they drive me crazy...

Thanks, Greetings and nice Day
