[...] It looks like some other people already ran into this problem and that there's no easy solution: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/slony1/+bug/236749/ The Postgres release for the slave server doesn't have to be 8.2; two options I can see immediately are to upgrade it to 8.3 and install Slony from Ubuntu packages against that, or to uninstall Postgres and build 8.0 with Slony from source. -- David L.
