Hi Devrim:

    I just ran the ./configure and then "make rpm" (as user
"postgres") which resulted in the following error (based on the packed
you recommended to try):

- -bash-3.00$ make rpm
rm -rf postgresql-slony1-1.2.12* =install=
for x in `cd . && find . -name CVS -prune -o -print`; do \
  file=`expr X$x : 'X\./\(.*\)'`; \
  if test -d "./$file" ; then \
    mkdir "postgresql-slony1-1.2.12/$file" && chmod 777
"postgresql-slony1-1.2.12/$file"; \
  else \
    ln "./$file" "postgresql-slony1-1.2.12/$file" >/dev/null 2>&1 \
      || cp "./$file" "postgresql-slony1-1.2.12/$file"; \
  fi || exit; \
done
/bin/tar cf postgresql-slony1-1.2.12.tar postgresql-slony1-1.2.12
gzip --best postgresql-slony1-1.2.12.tar
rm -rf postgresql-slony1-1.2.12
rpmbuild -ta postgresql-slony1-1.2.12.tar.gz
error: Failed to rename /usr/src/redhat/SPECS/rpm-spec.qeCcW8 to
/usr/src/redhat/SPECS/rpm-spec.qeCcW8: No such file or directory: No
such file or directory
make: *** [rpm] Error 1

A quick check for the file:

- -bash-3.00$ ls /usr/src/redhat/SPECS/rpm-spec.0fYjjj
ls: /usr/src/redhat/SPECS/rpm-spec.0fYjjj: No such file or directory

Any ideas why this would be happening... perhaps I am missing a step?
I saw this step (make rpm) on the main page of the Slony website.

Much appreciated.

Cheers,

Ouray
