Hi all. By the way, I know I'm asking too many questions in different mails. :-D But I thought it would be better this way to separate concerns. So I have this 2 nodes in two different servers. They're correctly replicating by means of 2 slon processes started and running both from the server where the master node is. So if I want to be prepared for the master node to "die" and make a failover to the slave, this are the questions that come to my mind: * I'll have to keep slon_tools.conf in sync in both servers so if someday I add a new table/sequence/set, it would be available on the failover server. What are you guys using for this? a shared mounted resource, like NFS or someting? Syncing by hand? Not syncing at all? * I know I have more questions... just forgot some. :-/ Thank you. -- Diego Algorta Casamayou http://www.oboxodo.com - http://diego.algorta.net
