It appears that both hosts are running PostgreSQL 8.2.5. I'm running
8.2.4 (on both); does that seem like a plausible cause of difficulty?

It appears that the cluster initialization is being done from the
Windows host. I was attempting to do it from the Linux host. If I get
the chance, I'll try to figure out how to do it that way.

It looks like the screen shots show replication from SUSE
(192.168.1.125) to Windows (192.168.1.133). That may turn out to be a
useful data point, but isn't a configuration that I have a use for.

I was hoping someone could point me to complete instructions on how to
set up a cluster, but it seems that such instructions aren't available.
I'm getting increasing pressure from my project manager to "stop messing
around and get on with it", so I may have to give up on Slony from
Windows soon, but I appreciate your help so far and hope you will have
much success in continuing your work.

Walter
