Based on the fact that rc4 has not seen any complaints, it seems likely that it'll shortly become the true release. > I was using slony1-1.2.0-rc4, but I receive messages: > <stdin>:11: NOTICE: Consider adding partial index > PartInd_principal_sl_log_2-node-1 on sl_log_2 > CONTEXT: PL/pgSQL function "storeset_int" line 31 at perform > <stdin>:11: NOTICE: schema: [_principal] tablename:[sl_log_2] > CONTEXT: PL/pgSQL function "storeset_int" line 31 at perform > <stdin>:11: NOTICE: index was not found - add it! > CONTEXT: PL/pgSQL function "storeset_int" line 31 at perform Being NOTICE messages, these are clearly not errors. Version 1.2 adds partial indexes on the disused sl_log_? table for all origin nodes, which provides a faster and safer index which will be used the next time Slony-I rotates between sl_log_1 and sl_log_2. Being partial, that means that the index makes for a clearly efficient way to access data for a given origin node. And since that index won't mix data from multiple nodes, some of the concerns lurking about XID comparisons should go away... > And I have problem in slon daemon. I don't imagine that the problem has anything to do with the notices listed above; if you are looking for assistance with a problem, you'll need to be more specific about what phenomenon you are experiencing.
