I am a little confused. There was a big outcry with the 1.1.1 release 
that the spec files would have needed updating and such. Now we are 
aiming for a quick 1.1.2 to fix that situation among some nasty bugs.

The bugs are all fixed, but the spec files in the REL_1_1_STABLE branch 
are still untouched since July. Is anyone actually working on these?
