Hello PostgreSQL/Slony Team, 

 

Congrats on your latest upgrades to Slony. My name is Vance McCarthy, and I
am the editor of Open Enterprise Trends, www.oetrends.com
<http://www.oetrends.com/> , a by-weekly newsletter and website dedicated to
discussing topics that will help push Open Source further into the
enterprise. Slony looks to be at a point where my readers (devs, architects,
sysadmins, and even about 20% CIOs etc.) would be interested.

 

Would either of you be available for a quick interview today or tomorrow
(Friday) on the status of Slony and how it might be used to increase
high-availability, back-up, etc for PostgreSQL?  Also, I'd like to include
resources for any sample Slony implementations for native PostgreSQL
support, and an outline of a pilot project/implementation for enterprise
devs/DBAs.
