con_timestamp should use now() instead of timeofday() as default because 
correct conversion to timestamp can't be guaranteed.

SELECT timeofday()::timestamp;
ERROR:  invalid input syntax for type timestamp:
"Sun Aug 28 17:09:48.284274 2005 MESZ"
