Hi. I just downloaded beta2. I would appreciate a little bit of guidance
on the "threadsafe libpq" patch, as in, what file am I patching exactly?
I assume this is in the postgres 7.4.2 tree... I guess an actual command
line would be the most helpful, since I haven't used patch much.

BTW, the file extension on that patch is .gz, but it's a plain text
file.
