I use multiple PG instances on different ports; and just tried replicating 
using non-standard ports. When I run 'slon', I get the error:

ERROR  slon_connectdb: PQconnectdb("dbname=bench host=acheron.rime.com.au 
user=pjw") failed - FATAL:  Database "bench" does not exis
t in the system catalog.
WARN   remoteListenThread_2: DB connection failed - sleep 10 seconds
pjw at acheron:~/work/slony> /var/lib/pgsql-7.4/bin/slonik
<stdin>:1: ERROR: syntax error at or near

which looks like it is not using the ports I specified.


As a side issue, is there any way to (1) drop a cluster or (2) show current 
definitions?
